In the inevitable day I'll skip a Blaugust post, I was working on this list. Over the course of the month I've made note of any sites I've stumbled upon.
RetroTracks– I was searching for more information about Takeo Miratsu. Other than Wikipedia, there was nothing much.
I didn't grow up with these tutorials! I took classes in high school (when I stopped being a kid, lol). There's also a webring for those that remember: Generation Lissa!

Where Else I've Been Lately
Hey, you remember My Anime List, right? It's still around! Over the years I've lost track of all the anime I've watched. And then I remembered that lil ol thang! I never got an account until now because, I thought, "eh I don't watch that much anime..." But I know friends that do, and I'm constantly getting recommendations. And sometimes I've been that friend, enabling binge watches of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I still also owe a friend a watch of The Little Mermaid.
What I've Been Watching, What I'm Waiting On
After suggesting we start Dan da Dan, current hits have been 2 to 2 on my partner's choice of anime. Cells at Work has been memorable, adorable, and I learned a lot about bodies! Cells at Work: Code Black is the idealistic opposite. We follow personified cellpeople trying to survive and keep alive a world that isn't in the best of shape. To put it mildly.
Something about it tho... just bothers me.
ANYWAY... what else...
I also just saw that Goodbye, Lara exists so that's on my To Watch List now! Love a little mermaid story.
We're waiting for season 3 of Dandadan, I'm ecstatic for the new Ghost in the Shell, and I've caught the Lensman bug. That old man DJ Bill is now gender goals.
Animation is just so cool y'all.
