More Catching Up?

oops my hand slipped and I had to rant about something first.

On Motivation

What tricks do you use to keep yourself motivated when something feels impossible?

Well... hmm. That's a good question!

When my list of prompts don't work, I like movin' when I get stuck. That could be a walk, or tackling those chores I'd been putting off. I like to say it sometimes dislodges what I've been trying to put into words. Or something else comes to me, in the meantime.

Going out and doing stuff is the best form of inspiration. So is partaking in art– they say writers become better by reading each other's work, and I believe that for anything.

You can write about anything, or something will remind you of something else.

About Goals

What are your blogging goals? Do you think participating in Blaugust is getting you closer to where you want be? What do you think you’ll get out of completing your Blaugust goals?

To get back into the habit of writing a lot again. Granted, there have been extenuating circumstances...

I've been wanting a sort of buffer as I finish up these large posts I keep harping on about. I've been also appreciating more the spaces online I choose to hang out, how many awesome people and projects I come across.

The Drive

What drives you to blog?

The need to get the words out of my head. I could wax poetic about that... about how I feel like I'd explode if I didn't. Writing is like a pressure valve. It also helps in processing your emotions.

no ai webring previous random next a bluegreen rectangle showing the words the NO AI webring, with NO AI being written by a fountain pen, all in the style of 16 bit Windows 95 icons. to either side are two equally Windows-95-style cursors pointing left and right, softly bouncing up and down. in between it all is a small black question mark
